Windows PC and Steam
The main Steam app lists Windows as supported and macOS/Linux as unsupported. The current Beta also uses a separate Windows Playtest app. The two apps must not share access status, reviews or build assumptions.
Steam is the only confirmed current store. Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store and other PC launchers are not announced in the sources checked for this page.
Windows support does not mean every PC can run the game. Compare your hardware with the official system requirements before buying.
Is WARDOGS coming to PlayStation or Xbox?
BULKHEAD says it wants to bring WARDOGS to both platforms, but the current Q&A does not provide a date or exact console model. Treat that as a real plan, not a release window.
An older corporate announcement mentioned a 2027 multi-platform target. The newer direct developer answer is less specific, so this page does not publish 2027 as a current console date.
Does WARDOGS have crossplay?
Crossplay is not announced. With Windows PC as the only current launch platform, there is no confirmed PC-to-console arrangement yet.
Cross-progression is also not announced. Do not assume Steam purchases, Supporter cosmetics, cash or progression will move to a future console version.

Can you use a controller on PC?
BULKHEAD plans partial gamepad support for Early Access and says keyboard and mouse will remain the preferred PC input. Steam's current formal controller-support field is empty.
Partial support does not prove that every menu, infantry action, ground vehicle, helicopter, remapping option and accessibility setting works end to end. If controller play is essential, wait for a current Early Access test rather than relying on one clip or statement.
Steam Deck and Linux handhelds
WARDOGS does not list Linux support, and there is not enough verified Steam Deck or Proton evidence to recommend it. A Windows game launching through Proton is not the same as confirmed compatibility.
Anti-cheat, performance, input mapping, text size and update stability all need a named device and build. Until that evidence exists, handheld support remains unconfirmed.
